Membership in The Society for Thermal Medicine is open to anyone interested in the study of thermal medicine.

30% Discount on IJH Publication Fees: STM members enjoy a substantial discount on publication fees for the International Journal of Hyperthermia, saving $895 - a benefit that more than covers the cost of membership.

Memberships are sold on a calendar-year basis, from January 1 through December 31. Memberships purchased after October 15 are applied to the coming year unless instructed otherwise.

Emeritus Member

$0 - Retired with ≥10 consecutive years of STM membership.

Retired Member $30 Annually

Self-selected, dues-paying supporter.

Student Member $30 Annually

Undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students with proof of enrollment. Email a scan of your student ID to stm@am.kwglobal.com.

Early-career Member $75 Annually

Professionals within 5 years of graduation; exceptions allowed based on career trajectory.

Associate Member $150 Annually

Individuals in related fields or industry; non- voting.

International Professional Member $185 Annually

Professionals >5 years post-training, working in thermal medicine or related fields residing outside North America.

Professional Member $275 Annually

Professionals >5 years post-training, working in thermal medicine or related fields.

Senior Leader Member $375 Annually

Professionals with 15+ years in the field or in a strategic leadership role.

Institutional Membership $1000 Annually

Organizations; includes 5 individual memberships.
Scalable: $750 for each additional group of 5 members.
No voting rights for the institution or its members.
